Backlash, also known as Rolling Right Kick in Japan, is an attack used by Hwoarang since his debut in Tekken 3.

From its debut to Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, the attack also had a Clean hit property. When this was removed in Tekken 6, it became a homing attack instead. In Tekken Revolution, the attack was turned into a launcher.

Notably, in Tekken 7, the attack also became a Power Crush and will also trigger a Screw. In Tekken 8, both the Screw and launch property were removed though the move will now deal chip damage.
