tekken

Slide Kick (スライディング Suraidingu?, "Sliding") is a move used by Marshall and Forest Law, as well as Lee Chaolan since the first Tekken game. Doctor Bosconovitch can also perform this move in Tekken 3. It is a crouching variation of the universal running leg slide. Lee's variant is replaced with Friction Spear in Tekken 8.

In Tekken, if the user lands a clean hit on the opponent and slides underneath them, they can combo with a d+3 get-up sweep which deals an extra 20 damage.

To perform a Slide Kick during Hop Up, Bosconovitch must be in his crouching recovery stance e.g. holding D during Hop Up so that he doesn't fall over. This version can also be performed following a tech roll, a forward or backward roll, a rising Cross Chop or Spring Kick. If the user performs a standing guard against Bosconovitch's version, they will receive 7 damage.

In Tekken 8, the move was reanimated and leaves the user standing after a successful hit.
