Devil Blaster (デビルブラスター Debiruburasutā?), originally called Flying Killer Beam in the US and EU versions of Tekken 2, is an unblockable move used by Devil and Angel from Tekken 2 onward before being given to Kazuya Mishima in Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Devil (or Angel) flies into the air and performs a variant of their Inferno diagonally towards the ground. Due to how high Devil/Angel are in the air, it is possible for an opponent to run underneath them and perform a back throw (or a combo or powerful move) if close. In Tekken 2, if the opponent was too far away to run underneath Devil/Angel, they would have to perform a large backwards jump in order to avoid the laser. In later games, the large jumps were removed and a universal sidestep was introduced, making it easier to avoid. Being hit by the laser causes the opponent to have a seizure and fall down taking 50 damage. The Devil Blaster can also hit grounded opponents. One good use of the Devil Blaster is against an opponent who is tagging out, as it will hit the second character running in.

In Tekken Tag Tournament, if Jack-2, Gun Jack, or Prototype Jack are hit with the laser, they will go haywire and perform a Windmill Punch.

A variation of the Devil Blaster introduced in Tekken Tag Tournament is the Reverse Devil Blaster.

Devil Jin's Infernal Destruction is based on this attack, while Angel's version of Devil Blaster in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 reuses Infernal Destruction's animation.

The attack was reanimated in Tekken 8 and is done when Kazuya is in Heat (which automatically instigates the Devil Transformation). It is also used to add an extra hit to the Hell Lancer, called Tempest Blaster.

Bug

In Tekken 2, both the Inferno and Devil Blaster can be fired when facing backwards.
