Jaycee (ジェイシー Jeishī?) is a video game character in the Tekken series who made her debut in Tekken Tag Tournament 2. She is actually Julia Chang under the alias of Jaycee or J.C., who is a Luchadora (female Lucha Libre wrestler). Jaycee is also playable in place of Julia in the free-to-play game Tekken Revolution as part of an update. Jaycee's canonical existence as a persona of Julia was confirmed in Julia's Tekken 7 profile.[4]
Biography
When Julia's childhood friend[5], a luchadora due to take place in the second Tag Tournament, is injured in a car crash, a grieving woman, most likely the woman's mother, pleads with Julia to take her position instead. While initially hesitant, Julia agrees to don the luchadora outfit and enter the tournament under the alias "Jaycee".
Personality
While Julia herself has a kind and compassionate nature, she is much more flamboyant and extroverted as her Jaycee alter-ego, showing off a much more confident and aggressive nature fitting of a luchador.
Appearance
Jaycee has brown eyes and long brown hair running the length of her back. Her hair is unfastened, swinging freely as she wrestles. Staying true to her roots and true identity, Jaycee wears an ornate Native American necklace around her neck.

Jaycee wears a luchadora outfit consisting of a strapless suit decorated with feather patterning, a mask with similar protruding feather patterning and long, thigh-length laced-up boots.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2
Julia appears as a playable character in Tekken Tag Tournament 2. In this game she appears as her alter-ego, a Luchadora (female Lucha Libre wrestler) named Jaycee.
Profile:
A masked female fighter who burst into fame overnight. Who is this mysterious woman with her fearsome throws and kenpo skills?[6]
Ending Description: Julia defeats King and goes backstage to take off her mask. She then remembers how she got the mask in the first place. While working on her computer, a woman shows up and takes her to an injured person. The woman says that the injury was caused by a car accident and pleads with Julia to take the injured woman's place. Julia initially refuses to do so, but later on accepts the offer. Back in the present, Julia puts the mask on, with tears in her eyes, but smacks herself to pull it together, then leaves the backstage area.

Gameplay
While retaining some attacks from her original moveset, Jaycee acquires more grappling moves to fit in with her new wrestling style. She also has some faster leaps and strikes, providing her with more mix up choices and attacks to close the distance between herself and her opponent. However, this new tools are to be used carefully, as they can leave her very vulnerable should they Whiff or be blocked.
Fighting Style
Jaycee's moveset includes both Julia's fighting style (which is a mixture of various Chinese martial arts, such as Xin Yi Liu He Quan and Baji Quan, among others) and a plethora of brand new moves inspired by Lucha Libre.

- Jaycee is the second alter-ego character in the series after Violet.
- Jaycee has a customization item labeled as Jaycee Tiger Mask, this could be a reference to professional wrestler Tiger Mask, or to the female version played by professional wrestler Candy Okutsu named "Tiger Dream", as the mask is similar to both of their outfits. It is possible that Jaycee was inspired by one or both of these wrestlers.
- For Tekken Tag Tournament 2, she is seen in the opening trailer as the tag partner of Armor King. However, in Tekken Pachislot 3rd and CR Tekken 2 she is instead shown as the companion of King. She ironically fights Armor King, who instead teams up with Bruce Irvin, in a wrestling match with King as her tag partner.
- Before she was revealed to be Julia Chang in disguise, the identity of Jaycee was a subject of much debate. The most cited theory was that it was Julia hiding behind the mask, which was confirmed to be true. Those who supported this view relied on the evidence that she seemed to wear a pendant which is similar to the one Julia wears, she used many moves similar to Julia's, and that Jaycee could also be short for Julia Chang; Julia Chang → J.C. → Jay - Cee. Others speculated that she might be Michelle Chang.
- Jaycee can be customized to resemble Julia Chang, her true identity, but she will still have the same fighting stance and intro/win poses.
- Jaycee shares similar character traits to La Mariposa from the Dead or Alive series of fighting games.
- They share the same fighting style (Lucha Libre).
- They are both alter egos of existing characters (Jaycee is Julia and La Mariposa is Lisa).
- Both of them wear masks that can be removed in-game.
- Jaycee's partners in Ghost Battle (in order from lowest to highest rank) are Craig Marduk, Armor King, Ganryu, King, and Michelle Chang.
- Jaycee's Ghost names are same with Julia's in Tekken 6.
- In Bruce's Tekken Tag Tournament 2 ending, the real Jaycee and her friend are briefly seen when Bruce runs in between them.
- With Jaycee confirmed to be canon in Tekken 7, she becomes the third character to make a canonical debut after an initial non-canonical appearance after Kazumi Mishima and Eliza.
- Jaycee currently is the only character which has the most unblockable moves with four, those being her Shooting Star Body Press, Sky Twister Press, Heavy Uppercut, and Western Lariat.
