Basic Running Attacks
Basic attacks can be performed during a run. The command for run is f,F or f,f,f.

#1 Craig Marduk performs a tackle, but ends up in his Tudo Mount position.
#2 When using Devil or Angel in Tekken 2, f+1+2 must be pressed otherwise they will perform an Inferno. Devil and Angel cannot perform a Running Cross Arm in Tekken Tag Tournament.
#3 This move cannot be performed by Yoshimitsu, Kunimitsu, Jack, Jack-2, Prototype Jack, Ganryu (prior to Tekken Tag Tournament), Kuma I, Doctor Bosconovitch or Steve. King, Armor King, Roger, Alex, Roger Jr. and Gon will perform a Stagger Kick instead of a slide kick.
#4 This move is performed by all male characters except for Paul, Lee, Yoshimitsu, Wang (prior to Tekken Tag Tournament only), Jack (all), Ganryu, Kuma I, King, Armor King, Roger, Alex, Roger Jr., Eddy and Steve. Angel and Panda can also perform this move.
#5 This move is performed by all females except Angel, Panda, Kunimitsu and Christie. Wang can also perform this move prior to Tekken Tag Tournament.
#6 This move is not possible prior to Tekken 3.
#7 This move is no longer possible in Tekken 8.
Basic Standing Attacks
These are moves that can usually be performed by every character. There are some character exceptions to the moves stated.

#2 2+4 and F+2+4 will result in different throws in Tekken 4; F+2+4 replaces the standard 1+3 throw in this game.

#5 Player's back must be against a wall in order to do this move and can only be done in Tekken 4 and later installments.
Knock Down Moves (Upon Landing)
These are moves that can be performed immediately upon landing after being knocked down. These moves cannot be performed in the original Tekken or Tekken 2.

#1 This move is not available in the original Tekken. Press D immediately after rolling to remain grounded, but facing the opposite direction. In Tekken 2, only Lei Wulong can roll to both sides.
#2 This move can also be done after Quick Roll Back or Roll Back or Roll Forward. In Tekken, pressing 3 or 4 will always perform a mid kick, while d+3 or d+4 will perform a low kick.
#3 Knock down (KND) on counter hit. In Tekken 2 and Tekken 3, this move always causes knockdown, while in Tekken it never causes knockdown.
#4 This move was not available before Tekken 3. Not all characters can perform an Ankle Kick.
#5 The command was (b,f_f,f)+1+2 in Tekken 2 and Tekken 3. In Tekken, this move can be performed facing either direction. Kuma I, Lei Wulong, Hwoarang, Ogre and True Ogre cannot perform this move. Jack models and Ganryu cannot perform this move prior to Tekken Tag Tournament, while Ling Xiaoyu cannot perform this move prior to Tekken 5. In Tekken, Jack, P.Jack, Ganryu and Kuma I will perform a Get Up Smash, but only during a forward roll.
#6 The command is b,b+3+4 in Tekken 2 and Tekken 3. Lei Wulong, Hwoarang, Ogre and True Ogre cannot perform this move. Ling Xiaoyu cannot perform this move prior to Tekken 5.
#7 Paul Phoenix, Yoshimitsu, Kunimitsu I, Kunimitsu II and Jinpachi Mishima will do a Spring Cross Chop.
#8 King, Armor King, Eddy Gordo, Christie Monteiro, Roger, Alex, and Roger Jr. will have their backs turned at the completion of the move.
